1. You are no more than a $10 cab ride from anywhere that you need to go, the hotel is AMAZING (especially the 'Picks' program, where you can lend a fender guitar, amp and headset for your entire stay and there is a lessons channel that gives you loads tabs and chords of popular rock songs and a short video lesson to go with them) the food is great and I really must mention the staff.

2. Concierge recommended a great Jazz Supper Club in walking distance, Andy's Jazz club on Hubbard, awesome jazz bands, food and service also.
