Ny hubby and I have just returned from a 5 night break to Chicago where we stayed at the Hard Rock Hotel - we had a wonderful time staying there although a sour note to finish was being presented with a bar bill for two large bottles of water ( costing $9.60 each!) which we never had and we didn't even open the mini bar/fridge in the room for the whole stay ( as we had read from a previous reviewer about the 'movement sensors in the bar/fridge,') When I queried this bill at reception, I did get the bill cleared, with no actual apology but with the words 'Oh, I suppose I have to trust you'.
