Overall, I was satisfied with this hotel given the reasonably cheap price we paid; but if we had paid more, I think that we would have been better off at the Chicago Westin (not that far away) or one of the W hotels -- which were only slightly more expensive than what we paid at the InterContinental.

10. The room is TINY (for comparison, a 1 bedroom suite in this hotel is the same size or even smaller than a 2 queen bed room at Hotel 71!) Sure, the location is good, but there are also MANY hotels in this price-range on the Magnificent Mile.
