4. I'm not a great fan of walking, so being seconds away from Times Square and a 10 minute walk to the Rockerfeller Centre, Empire State, Maceys, Bryant Park, Grand Central Terminal, maybe 15 mins to Central Park was perfect.

5. The only time we needed to get a cab was to the ferry to Statue of Liberty and also Ground Zero, but am sure some people would be happy to do the 45/50 mins or so walk.

6. Radio City, Rockefeller Center, Fifth avenue,Restaurant row are within walking distance not to mention most of the broadway theaters.

7. Internet is not complimentary here so beware although there are literally 3 MacDonalds within walking distance that offer free connections.

10. Broadwat shows, Empire State, Rockefeller Centre etc are all within walking distance so taxis aren't required at the end of a night out.
