1. At no point did any one in the hotel (front desk, events, management) acknowledge that we had chosen to spent and extraordinarily special period of our lives (and, for us, an extraordinary amount of money) at the Hotel on Rivington and a tasteful touch like a congratulatory note or fruit plate would have been a small touch that went a long way.

6. Drinks in the minibar is understood to cost money, but drinks left by the sink in the bathroom is a bit crafty.

7. Having said that, it is a question of money as, unless you pay for an upgraded room, you'd be stuffed with some pretty uninspiring views (a wall maybe?) on the lower floors.
