1. Overall a really chic trendy hotel, fab room and lovely views, service needs touching up at reception, but housekeeping spot on, you are out most of the day in New York anyway, so most important thing is the room ultimately which was great and faultless.

3. Our room was clean and well serviced by the housekeeping staff, but the bathroom tile needs a thorough cleaning (one of the few negatives).

7. While the front desk was generally responsive and helpful, in the six nights we stayed there the groom's luggage went missing and our marriage documentation got thrown out by housekeeping.

9. As for the staff, most were very cold and unfriendly, though one night we returned exhausted from being out all day and found a huge crowd trying to use the elevators(there are only 2 for guest usage and housekeeping-we once had to argue with a housekeeper that she and her cart could not fit into the elevator with 6 of us already in there.
