3. Guess because it's NY they can charge you lots of money for internet, parking etc. The bathroom was the best thing about the room, it was clean and we had enough space in there.

As I had booked the hotel through an external site, I contacted the Hotel to let them know I would be unable to stay, and to see if I could cancel my reservation, however, the hotel answered that it was impossible, so I contacted the travel agent, who told me I was unable to cancel my booking without charge, unless the hotel allowed it.

10. The only thing I didn't like was the preauthorization, take make a hold to your credit card for the whole amount at the check-in and lift that when you check-out and then make the actual charge.
