1. It's located in Upper West Side in very nice neighborhood, where all amenities like diner, pharmacy and even laundry are just around the corner.

3. so don't expect a lot of amenities, like breakfast-- but, there are several great delis and restaurants right outside the front door (check out the Europan Deli and the Longgrain Thai restaurant for good inexpensive meals-- for the traditionalist, there is a Starbucks and a McDonald's on the block, too).

5. No one should come here expecting a lot in amenities--the furniture, decor, etc. are dated (I had a tube TV in my room) but the room, linens, and bathroom were very clean.

6. There are many other hotels closer to Times Square, and we will probably try another one next time, but if you are looking for a good value and amenities, this hotel should be at the top of your list.
