2. However, this hotel is excellent in every which way especially for young professionals/singles looking for a cultural weekend in the big apple without the hotel bill of a chain hotel.

3. And don't pick up any of the items on top of the mini-bar unless you intend to purchase them--there's an electronic sensor that bills your room if an item is removed.

7. the safe didnt work for the 1st day but this was sorted very quickly when I mentioned it to the front deskThe silly fridge which you couldnt put anything in as it was full of sensors to ensure you didnt touch anything without being charged, this was highlighted when I had a bill for $16 for not touching anything but I assume I must have knocked something on the top of the fridge which caused an invoice to be raised, this was sorted by a quick phone call downstairsnow this is a tiny grumble but it was an oddity, on a day to day basis the amount of flannels changed it was either one or two, now given that there were two of us we of course needed 2 but what the heck.

9. At check-in you are double-warned to avoid opening the minibar and touching anything you don't intend to buy because, 'you will be charged for it and I cannot take it off your bill.
