7. If looking for a cab to the airport, ask the porter to stop one on the street rather than have the front desk reserve one - as it will cost half the price to JFK.

9. We had requested a street facing room, but upon arrival we were told that they could put us up in a courtyard facing room immediately, otherwise we could wait in the lobby for half an hour.
