1. Within walking distance of several of the great neighborhoods - we never had to take a cab.

2. There really are no restaurants suitable for dinner within walking distance of the hotel, but there are many a cab ride away either in downtown or up on Capitol Hill.

5. I managed to erase all of the music from my phone right before my flight except for a Nina Simone album, so I was in a perfectly elegant, classy mood to walk into the elegant, classy Sorrento Hotel last Friday.

6. I did a lot of walking from the hotel and it is an easy 20-25 mins walk to downtown and a nice cardio hill climb back up from 1st to the Hotel on Madison.

7. The courtesy car is not always available (previously booked) and the hotel is located on first hill!says it all, so be prepared for either good walks to and from the down-town area, or use taxi's, some pretty steep areas, thought I was back in San Francisco.

8. We even thought the location was ideal, as long as you like walking and are reasonably fit the hill is no problem, only took us 15 minutes to walk down to the monorail to go to the space needle.

9. Location is good, short walk to waterfront, plenty of cafes nearby to get espresso, speaking of coffe they had french press in room to make coffee which was a very nice touch.
