Rather than using the valet parking for the night ($39 per night) we chose to park right across the
street
since we have a large F250 pickup and paid for 24 hours only $20 dollars where the machine accepted either cash or debit.

For breakfast and lunch I ate at the Corner Cafe across the
street
, which has very reasonable prices and the food is quite good.

The location in downtown Seattle located on Madison

was perfect as far as getting on and off the expressways.

There is also a good cafe/coffee shop just across the
street
for a good cup of Joe, sandwiches, salads, and breakfast items.

We did not eat in the hotel but Sugar, the cafe across the
street
, has the best pastries I've ever had.

First, it has a wonderful entrance--a circular driveway cut into the
street
corner, which makes it oddly hard to find.

We did not use the free car service, as we had our own car, and we decided not to valet but to park on the
street
, which on a Saturday night was no problem and on Sundays allows for free parking.

Although their valet parking was expensive, there is plenty of metered on
street
parking in the area (meters not read from 6 pm to 8 am).

Free high speed internet access was definitely a major plus, as were the free NY Times and Wall
Street
Journal in the lobby.
