4. You don't have a great view over the city, but if you look up you see the illuminated spire of the Empire State Building right above you.

8. The view from the window was of a brick wall 8 feet away (probably not that unusual in Manhattan, I suppose) and the aircon rattled and wheezed like some kind of 19th century dive compressor.

9. I was advised that the rooftop bar had a spectacular view of the Empire State Building, which turned out to be true, but as the bar has no connection with the hotel, I couldn't charge anything to my room, which was a little odd.

10. I didn't know that it was in Koreatown when i booked it, but it was awesome and it was around the corner from the Empire State Building and the rooftop bar was small but amazing view.
