Upon check in, the hotel manager personally inspected our room to make sure it was up to his standards for cleanliness, the front desk staff was friendly and helpful (they even dried our clothes for us at no charge when the dryer broke halfway through doing our laundry), free breakfast was wonderful, and the hotel was in a quiet area only a 5 minute walk to the French Quarter and Bourbon Street, or the Street Car to the Garden District.

9. There is NO PARKING at the hotel (some right across the street for a charge $) if that's an issue for you, but really you do not need a car in this town, as you can walk from one side to the other in about 25 minutes and there is literally NOWHERE to park downtown anyway.

10. Besides this [--] the rooms smelled, the walls had brown splatters, the carpet was filthy, the window came off the hinge, toilets ran, parking has a daily charge and the shower leaks water everywhere.
