1. Location- right next to VU campus and 5 miles from mall and downtownRoom- clean and quiet with rain showers ( son loved it)Green friendly- no swimming pool as it uses too much energy and bags of ice on each floor as ice machines are energy and water wastersConvenience- single service coffee and expresso machines on each floorGreat value- we paid around $129 per night which is the same as the courtyard across the street and this was a much better place.

3. There is parking at the hotel, but it's quite expensive so we found free street parking behind the hotel which was very convenient and safe.

5. In a couple of minutes the staff person that I spoke to called to apologize that they were out of razors temporarily, but that he was going across the street to a convenience store to get me one.

8. The immediate neighborhood isn't anything exciting (a bank, gas station, a few fast food outlets, and some mid-range hotels lining a busy street), but Vandy and Centennial Park are only a few blocks away and make for a nice walk.
