2. This is a very good mod decor hotel in midtown Atlanta, within walking distance (a little under a mile) of the High Art Museum and the Botanical Gardens.

4. I really like Starwood Hotels - we often stay at the Westin Buckhead (which might be more appropriate for reviewers who found this hotel too loud or didn't like the decor) but decided to try the W Midtown on this stay (we were there for the annual Peachtree Road Race).

6. Plenty of black and chrome in the decor allied to subdued lighting, in reception and the rooms, but the effect is simply gloomy.

8. A resident of Atlanta, I visited the W to eat at the Spice Market restaurant and loved everything about it from the decor to our wonderful service (ask for Roy D) to the truly amazing food.
