1. We had never stayed at the Mondrian before, but a friend of ours told us that the rate that we got was amazing for the type of hotel that it is.

4. The rates are acceptable if you just talk about the room (in my case 250 USD for a superior room), but all additional services (parking, laundry, bar, breakfast etc.) are very highly priced.

6. Like many staying during Dec-Jan, we got the $195 per night rate (we stayed Jan 14-18), and our room was a 750 sq ft one bedroom suite with balcony.

9. When we checked out, I thought I was overcharged for some parking (the manager had lied to us, offering a reduced rate to park on the day we checked in but then withdrawing that special rate when we checked out).
