I'm platinum elite and hotels usually give free breakfasts to make up for the

room closure, but the Waverly does not do that.

We did get a room on the
concierge
floor (which we paid extra for expecting the lounge to be open) and the room was very old and plain -- imagine a small 23' old style TV in a beat up cabinet.

We selected it as it was the only hotel website that menitoned its
Concierge
room was open until 10 pm Fridays and we were arriving at 4 pm.
