1. There are decent views from the small upper-story balconies, and the fridge, microwave, coffee maker and dishes provided allow you to eat in if you care to.

7. She offered an upgrade to superior room for same price as standard room (superior has balcony); she was also excited to hear that I was coming to Honolulu to go on a 'Tiger Cruise' - I was glad to hear that a hotel staff member even knew what a 'Tiger Cruise' was.
