1. Apparently the hotel was 100% booked on the Saturday we arrived, so I started the next morning campaigning for a bigger room, hopefully at no additional cost.

3. Please beware of hidden costs -- such as $25 per day for hotel parking as well as high fees for internet and pool cabana usage.

4. When it was time for departure we waited outside in the gorgeous drive loop for a shuttle to pick us up (American Shuttle is a fraction of the cost of a taxi).

5. Any other hotel with a in-room jacuzzi would cost considerably more and hotels in South Beach are also far more expensive.

7. Our room included a bathroom (with soaking tub/shower combo), King-size bed, sitting area, outdoor lanai with Japanese soaking tub (we didn't use because it didn't look all that clean and cost $30 to have filled with water).

8. In general all the key components were here a comfy bed in a great sized room, with a balcony leading out onto a hot tub (which costs extra to use).
