The
walk
isn't far, but you pass a number of interesting characters on the way if you choose to
walk
and the area is pretty quiet otherwise at night.

Unfortunately, the Crowne Plaza is not within
walk
ing distance to anything but the property offers a shuttle service that was very well run - remember to tip your driver.

Location of the hotel is easy to find as you come off the motorway and you are right there, but it is a bit out of the way for the city centre, it would be a good 15-20min
walk
to Beale street.

The Crowne Plaza sits on the edge of downtown, so it's not really within
walk
ing distance of anything besides the convention center and pyramid.
"Okay, but I wouldn't make it my first choice "
