If neither of those are aviaible, the trolley is behind the Marriott across the screet and runs to around Beale street every 10 minutes or so, and
cost
something like 1.50 each way, or you can get a pass.

Negatives:1) Parking is not free but I don't remember the

At this point I went to the bar to get a drink while I wait; it
cost
me $14 for a bottle of beer and a shot of whiskey.

However, felt the price for valet parking was a little excessive and the
cost
of $11.50 for a drink (Tequila Sunrise) at the bar was over the top.

The hotel security was very sufficient, parking your car behind the hotel
cost
s $10 per day w/unlimited access in/out , at night there is a guard shack at the entrance with a guard that patrols the lot all night.

By all means, use the Trolley, it only
cost
s $1 per person (have some dollar bills handy, the machine don't give change) , compared to other means it is a steal and is quite a nostalgic expierience.
