3. The Crowne Plaza is positioned away from the downtown noise but you can hear the trolley busesHowever this did not ruin our stay here and the room was quite nice overlooking the pool and the street.

4. Situation is good - very handy for Convention Centre and Main Street, with a regular, very cheap trolley down Main Street to Beale Street, which is about a 15 minute walk away.

6. We took the shuttle to Beale street (another review), dined at delicious Blues City Cafe (another review) and got tickets to see an NBA game hosted by the Memphis Grizzlies in the FedEx arena right in the middle of Beale street.

7. Husband and I ended up walking to Beale street and I do not think this was a good area for that as we had some interseting situation arise - we cabbed it back to say the least lol.

10. the staff is very helpful and seem to care about the guestit is not hard to get to Beale street by shuttle or cab under $10.00 but you should take a walk up main st.
