The big disappointment was the kind of dishonesty with the supposed 2 for 1 on tours etc. They stage a continental breakfast for free (when will I ever learn that these are NOT free at timeshares), and under the guise of an island orientation, hold drawings to allow you to WIN 2 for one tickets on various tours and activities.

3. Pono Kai residents have the benefit of a 10 percent discount at Ono's (adjacent to property) for a delicious breakfast or lunch.

10. We ate breakfasts in our room (fully furnished full sized kitchens) - you will need to purchase coffee filters if you're staying more than 4 days, took some of our lunches and snacks with us to beaches and drives throughout the island and usually ate dinners out.
