The concierge recommended a FANTASTIC deli (Shilo's 2 1/2 blocks from the hotel,
street
-side), as well as a convenient pharmacy to pick the meds I'd also left at home (Walgreens: 2-3 blocks away).

Knowing that the hotel does not have a self park option, and the fact that their valet is $33 per night, and self park across the
street
is $25 we choose to use the convenient city garage two blocks away (E Houston) for $9 per 24 hours.

Staying on the 4th floor (which is really equivalent to 9 floors above ground level), wasn't bad until Tuesday evening when some workers decided to load steel piping on the
street
below my room and that of many others.

Self parking $25 seems excessive, but conveniently right across the
street
.
