1. Some visitors have griped about renovations, and I can sympathize - that's frequently a hardship, even in the best properties where management invests extra money to minimize the inconvenience.

I called hotel to ask why they had done this ahead of time and why they didn't notify us at time of check out, they just wanted to assure the money was there in case there were extra charges for other things we might use: $5 a bottle water or use of the small refrigerator(for which we couldn't use for personal drinks).
