1. Had an amazing waterfront room and woke up at 6am to see our cruise ship right in front of us.

2. Elephant and Castle pub/restaurant also very good and Anthony's fish grotto right across the road on the waterfront has great seafood ( they also have a takeaway at the side which is also good an great value)Rooms are worn but everything worked, No complaints.

3. The big plus for this hotel is its location - you're right across from the waterfront walk, and within walking distance of the trolley, Amtrak, restaurants in Little Italy and the fabulous Extraordinary Desserts cafe.

4. There are lots of waterfront restaurants, good wines and food, and about 50 some specialty shops with lots of neat things.

Also you get outside noise a lot; amazingly loud commuter trains on the city-facing side (from about 5am until after midnight - it's unbelievable), people's voices in the swimming pool area echo (it's between the two main buildings and a bunch of rooms face that area), and even the rooms that face the waterfront expose you to the bells from the USS Midway, people and traffic on the sidewalks along the front of the hotel, and, worst of all, the blowing of cruise ship horns.

8. This hotel has a good location if you enjoy the waterfront and being close to activities such as the Maritime Museum and the USS Midway Museum.
