To make matters worse, the parking fee showed up on one of our bills and when it was discussed the next day with the front desk staff, the clerk had the audacity to say 'what makes you think you should receive free parking?' Avoid this property, spend a couple dollars more and stay in the Gas Lamp district.

6. But we had a rental car and never paid the parking fee because even in July there was always a meter available right out front which was free from I think midnight to 8am so factor in simply the cost for the meter after 8am and we got a good deal.

8. I packed my bag, checked out before midnight, was refused a refund of the Holiday Inn Reward Points I used to book the room, paid my huge parking fee, and drove the 3 hours home rather than stay overnight there.
