4. Con's:Elevators are unreliable, carpets dirty, no desk in the room only a round table with no outlets, sink drainage problems, very tired room decor and balcony doors don't seal so noise and air rushes in.

Perfect view ( you can see the Midway, cruise terminal, Ship museum, the airport, harbor Island, shelter Island, the Naval Air station, the Coast Guard station nice balcony, so If you enjoy watching boats and planes coming and going, bring your binoculars)No complaints about train horns, heard vaguely in the distance at night but in no way disturbed our sleep.

6. The room we had was a bay-view room with a large sliding glass door that lead onto a good sized balcony over looking the embarkado or bay area of San Diego, with views of the airport, and beautiful sunsets in the evenings.

8. just in case you are a smoker - you can NOT smoke on your balcony (which is the only reason I got a balcony room), or they will charge you a $150 fine.
