1. There were many good things about the hotel - the front desk staff was courteous, the restaurant/bar in the lobby was really fun and the food was good.

4. The restaurant bar, which is actually a very nice PUB, the Elephant & The Castle is just a great place to finish the day, and take a look on the pics the family took during the day, make a catch-up of the day with friends, or wrap up a biz day with the peers or your boss.

5. We would go over to the bar for cocktails and appetizers, they have a special price for appetizers at the bar for happy hour, and then we would sit at a table for dinner.

It has several very nice amenities that I have taken advantage of: the lobby is excellent for meeting and visiting; the handsome and comfortable bar offers premium drinks and beers from around the world as well as billiards and electronic darts for entertainment; and the in-house restaurant is just OK but quite frankly I give it higher marks for the variety of its menu and convenience.

9. but if youre in san diego to have a little bit of fun, then youre in the right place, if youve got nothing to do during the day grab a bike from the rental place next door and youll get to see all the sights in town for $ 15, walking distance from hundreds of great bars and reaturants, hotel facilities ok, room very tidy, and bed comfortable.
