1. When we returned to the room later in the evening, there was a handwritten note signed by the manager and some delicious desserts waiting for us.

5. I was fortunate enough to get a king spa room for my 1 night on business and the manager was nice enough to let me stay in the same beautiful corner room (at a lower price) through the weekend with my family (despite being sold-out).

6. Nice touches include: personalized letter at check in from the Manager, great overall service, the sound of the chirping birds in the hallway (really!) and it switches at nighttime to evening nature sounds.

8. Occasionally, while the bartender's attention was on other guests, if my drink was finished a hostess/manager would step in and get me a new one before my empty glass even hit the bar.

10. Cooking a buffet-style meal for several hungry managers is no easy task, but they didn't overcook the meat, the pretzel rolls are heavenly and even the salad dressings were excellent.
