7. ) It was an easy walk to Michigan Avenue, the Art Institute, Trader Joes (home of cheap snacks and wine), etc. Check in and out: We arrived about 2:00 only to be told the room wasn't yet ready, but the receptionist completed the check in process for us and they stored our luggage while we went and had some lunch.
