There were a few drawbacks but nothing too big: there was a sliding door of sorts to the bathroom, not a full door, so the bathroom got cold;the food in the main lobby restaurant - had both breakfast and dinner over a three-day stay - was good but not great; the business center charges something like $1 a page to print black-and-white pages so printing a 20 page document was $20.

4. Service was spot on, restaurant State/Lake was wonderful for breakfast and dinner, the Roof was superb if you are not up there during primo club hours (I'm getting old) because then it does get packed.

7. After dinner, met with friends for drinks at 'Roof', their cool and popular rooftop bar with nice views of nearby buildings, and both a indoor and spacious outdoor section to party in.

8. Our late night dinner at Cibo Matto was one of the best dining experiences I've had in a long while: the food was excellent, the service even better (knowledgeable, friendly and fun), and the surroundings were both comfortable and very chic.
