1. at night the city was gorgeous, and in the day time you could see the ocean!(even though it was 'city view' It was clean, close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping.

4. The Pacific Monarch is a short (couple of blocks)walk to Waikiki Beach and also within walking distance to many restaurants, tour pickups, bus stops, car rentals & the International Market Place and Honolulu Zoo.

5. I would definitely recommend checking out the Jinroku teppanyaki restaurant that is attached to the main level of the hotel (the entrance from the inside is through the restroom hallway but you can also access it from outside).
