1. This hotel is as good as the rest for half the cost and a better location to the beach (1 block) and main strip (2 blocks).

2. When traveling with children it's a huge cost saving being able to make meals in the room, and have food to pack lunches for the day trips.

4. Not only do you get more space than a regular hotel room but you save a huge amount on food and room costs (the Hyatt is next door and the room there are twice the price for half the value).
"All of Waikiki for the budget-minded " Read full review on TripAdvisor   4/5/2008 Vote
5. The only tiny complaints we would have, and they are small ones, is, there could be better lighting in the room and there could also possibly be a laminated sheet of paper on the back of the entrance door with details of where the washers/dryers are located and how much they cost to use, how to turn the water on in the shower for those of us not used to taps like that and where to find garbage disposal unit and what can go in it.
"'Polu Hale' on the 15th floor feels like home " Read full review on TripAdvisor   5/1/2012 Vote
6. The cost was the same for a normal taxi, but we ended up paying/tipping the driver more than he quoted because of his help with our baggage, but $60 or $20 each was a bargain.
