1. Make a reservation at Dukes restaurant at 6:00 to watch the sunset as well; they have a great salad bar and menu with reasonably priced items.

2. We chose this apartment for a few reasons, its just 1 block from the beach, just behind the Hyatt, which has a great bar and entertainment every night, we wanted to be out and about shopping and surfing not in our room, and friends have stayed here.

4. Pacific Monarch is also located on a great strip with lots of bars, restaurants, shops, etc. Truly a great location.
