1. The room was a double with 2 full sized beds an adequate regular bathroom and a nice small balcony looking out towards the park and downtown Waikiki.

7. We stayed in an ocean view room for 2 nights and couldn't stand the smell in our bathroom, The bathtub tap was old, the drain plug was old and broken.

I have stayed several times at the Gateway over the past 10 years and have enjoyed it, but this trip was the Best, as I stayed in one of their New Penthhouse Suites , room #1706, it was newly furnished, Great Views , floor to ceiling windows, Fantastic Windowed Marble Bathroom,Great Kitchenette with a Stove,Refrig and Microwave, New 42'HD TV, very quiet and they also offered a Great New Breakfast Buffet at only $6.95,as well as Free Internet use in their Business Center,Great location and very friendly Staff, I certainly will be coming back to spend many more vacations here.

9. There were tiny little spider-like things living in the wood furniture and ants in the bathroom, so we were never able to unpack our toiletries or keep snacks in the room (sounds minor, but at 5 + months pregnant I snack a lot).
