1. Also, (although we didn't take advantage of it as we were off to visit with family after our first night there) I would expect it's a very convenient spot to explore downtown Phoenix.

2. The metro light rail line is within walking distance to get downtown without the worry of parking or traffic, and the Desk help cheerfully would round up a shuttle to get you there if you wanted.
