3. I should mention that I booked this for $55/nt using a Lexington preferred guest program rate and though I was given that rate at check in, I was denied the benefits of my membership in the preferred guest program (room upgrade, one free pay per view movie) because I didn't have my ID card with me.

4. I spoke to two front desk clerks at check-in and check-out and both of them gave me the evil eye (in my opinion) when I brought this up.
