1. If you want a more tailored, traditional look then the Willard (across the street) might fit you better.

2. Since I used to live in DC, I was elected to choose the hotel, and sold this one to the rest of the group based on its fabulous location literally across the street from the White House and fantastic rooftop bar.

10. The location is really wonderful, but I`d recommend the JW Marriott down the street over HW anytime--It actually makes you feel like you get what you`re paying for (we ended up at the HW b/c it was already fully booked).
