1. There is a 'Bliss' spa in the basement and a reasonably equipped gym, neither of which I had time to experience.

Pros:- cool hotel, very modern look- rooftop club has great views of DC, good music- comfortable beds, great shower- nice gym, punching bag is unusual bonus for hotel gym- lots of nearby food optionsCons:- lots of noise, walls are thin so you will hear conversations from the next room- bad cell phone coverage (this may be according to room and/or carrier, but for several of my stays it was 1 bar and sometimes no service.

3. The gym is located in the basement but as bigger than most hotel gyms and had free weights, Technogym elipticals and stair masters as well as a boxing bag and free ear phones.
