1. But if you don't mind threadbare sheets, lousy beds, institutional bathrooms, dirty carpets, noisy guests, lights that don't work, microscopic TVs, no shelves in bathrooms, no shampoo in the shower, and the smelly lobby that others have mentioned, this is your hotel.

6. Two restaurants flanked the lobby and a gift shop that opens early enough to offer the essentials when you have forgotten to bring them is staffed with friendly faces even as early as 7:00am.
