3. The hotel is older and you can tell, but the staff was very helpful; we needed to check in early and they helped us, they also upgraded our room to a king-size bed.

Staff are friendly, no complaints about the check-in and check-out process (the front counter was even staffed for our pre-dawn checkout!)We had a Deluxe Family Room (Room 836) which is essentially 2 standard rooms (one with a queen bed, the other with two twin beds) joined by a concertina door.

8. Also, the staff was very helpful and friendly and let us check in almost three hours early - and on top of that, the immediate area is not a big nightlife area, so the traffic noise at night is pretty minimal, considering that you are in the middle of downtown.
