1. There are lots of nice shops and restaurants nearby and a cinema very close to the accommodation (AMC Loew at 3111 K Street).

8. Georgetown is a great district, with upmarket shops and great restaurants, although shopping for food is a bit difficult without a car - Safeways is a bit of a trek uphill, but there are small shops rather nearer, but with very limited selections of food to cook/re-heat.
