1. We were on the 9th floor (pet free) and had good views of Petco Park, although the Padres weren't doing very well when we were there.

2. The pool area is interesting, as its really meant to accomodate the nightly bar scene of young singles who come to socialize, its very pretty with alot of sitting tables and beautiful views.

My first stay at the San Diego Solamar has being Excellent , very good location at the Gaslamp quarter whit a lot of bars ,shops and restaurants ,or enjoy a great meal at the JSIX restaurant at street level or Loungesix at the 4Th floor where the bar and pool are also located ,whit a exceptional view of San Diego.

7. Roof top lounge-was perfect with a pool, modern style decor consisting of fire pits, heat lamps, multiple cabanas, out door fire place, tables, couches, a great view of the gas lamp district below, out door shower (out of public view) to rinse after pool use, with a nice bar as well.
