1. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite (which is decorated in a beachy modern pottery barn style- even my husband liked it), which was great since it had a door, but bathroom only accessible through the bedroom.

6. The Hotel Solamar seems best-suited for a briefer stay in San Diego's Gas Lamp Quarter, such as for a baseball game or two at Petco Park, which is walking distance.
