4. Imperial Palace also next door to Harrah's - which has Carnival outdoor bar (a must visit) and The Range (my favorite restaurant in LV - best view of Strip - most people have never heard of it - get the Lobster bisque and lamb chops).

6. They were very friendly, I requested an upgrade to a king bed and a strip view, which they gave us for free (they got it back at the roulette table).

I booked this hotel for my mum last year and she loved it so we have just booked for her again in JulyThe Hotel is right on the strip cheap and cheerful,the rooms are very clean they upgraded my mum to a suite after I emailed them and requested it, she was so happy on the 13th floor with a good view of the strip.
