1. Our only complaints about the room were a burned out light above the shower and a stain on the wallpaper in the bathroom.

2. What kind of incidental charge would a broken shower valve be?a good portion of the room lights were unplugged and needed furniture moved to plug them in.

3. My only complaint would be the rooms were kinda dated, the tv remote was missing buttons on it, there was no trash can in the room, and the cauking in the shower was moldy but these are minor complaints.

4. The private changing room with steam shower is just for you alone, with an attached massage suite.

8. The vanities each have dimmer operated lighting, the shower has floor lights which illuminate the shower seat and floor as well as a recessed light from the shower ceiling.

9. Pros: Beautiful views through spacious bay windows from each room in the tower (the tower is round so almost every room has a nice view); comfortable beds; appointed as you would expect a beautiful old hotel (two poster headboards on the bed, ornate mirrors, impressive window treatments, etc); friendly staff; great restaurant (Mason St Grill); close to lakefront, art museum, and summerfest grounds; convenient above ground parking (floors 2 through 6) accessible from the hotel elevatorCons: Due to the shape of the rooms, they are noisy as you tend to hear showers, plumbing, and sinks from adjacent rooms; bathrooms are nice (two room) but toilet/tub room is very small; two beds are full size, not queens; no free internet; .
"Grand Old Hotel, Comfortable Stay, A Bit Pricey " Read full review on TripAdvisor   2/20/2012 Vote
10. Our room was nice, but the bathroom was on the small side with a standard tub/shower combination and no fan in the bathroom.
