5. The hotel itself is very nice and the rooms are very clean and comfortable, after all it is what really counts, a good clean bed to sleep and a clean bathroom to take a shower.

8. After my first cold shower of the trip I called the front desk and the woman there informed me that the hotel's boiler was broken and it would be several days before it could be repaired.

9. I guess management has decided that people will tolerate roof repairs (since they happen during the day when people aren't sleeping) but that to warn about the cold showers would potentially drive business away.
