1. The menu was routine American fare, not even very much seafood for being within spitting distance of the ocean; one entree, one salad, one calamari and a bottle of wine for two people cost more than $100.

5. Took a cab that cost $10.00 and upon arriving at the hotel to our surprise 3 shuttles are parked at the door.

7. It was very near to Miami international airport,we caught a 'blue' cab outside airport(it cost $10-standard) and it took less than 10 minutes to its door.

8. However, after waiting for about 20 minutes and seeing no shuttle (there were plenty heading to the Marriott), we decided to get a taxi which only cost $12 - I would do that next time to save hanging around.

10. We used this hotel as a staging point to visit Miami downtown and other surrounding areas (A cab ride to downtown costs about $22 and takes 15 mins and cabs are plently, beats staying at the expensive downtown hotels).
